FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
-
What is paintless dent repair (PDR)?
PDR removes dents without repainting. A technician works the metal back to its original shape from behind the panel, so your factory paint stays intact. -
Can hail damage really be fixed without repainting?
Yes. Hail dents are exactly what PDR was made for — as long as the paint isn’t cracked, the panel can be smoothed back toward factory condition. -
Is PDR cheaper than a body shop?
Usually, yes. There’s no paint, no filler and no parts, so paintless repair is typically a fraction of conventional body-shop cost. -
How long does it take?
Most repairs are done the same day. Larger hail jobs can take a little longer, and we’ll tell you upfront when you get your estimate. -
Will PDR damage my paint?
No. Done correctly, PDR doesn’t touch or thin your paint — that’s the whole point. It keeps the original factory finish. -
Will my dent come out 100%?
It depends on size and location. Small dings and most hail dents come out clean; larger or sharper dents improve a lot but may not be perfect. We tell you what to expect before we start.
